Tanzanite Mortuary

Durinng the mining of a high quality vien of tanzanite a large room size area was dug deep underground. High ceilings supported by many columns left from the parent mine material. Once the pocket was cleared out the only part of the tanzanite vien left was in the columns. Temptation and greed got the best of the miners. Digging into the first column they were rewarded with a bounty of crystal of incredible quality. The second column was also highly rewarding. Eventually the great weight of 100s of meters of rock could no longer be supported by the decreasing number of columns and all of the miners were entombed in the tanzanite mortuary.
